Banana den Forno

An Aruban dessert of bananas simmered in cinnamon and vanilla sugar syrup, then finished briefly in the oven. Simple, aromatic, and quick. The simmering step infuses the bananas before the oven caramelises the outside slightly. Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
